Malama Maunalua’s Lunlilo Ditch Clean Up – VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
Saturday, May 5th from 9 am – 11 am
Sign up at MalamaMaunalua.net and meet at Koko Head District Park to clean and restore the Lunalilo Terrace Ditch and help reduce the run-off into the marina. Koko Marina Boating Fun Fest 2012
Saturday, May 19th from 9 am to 3 pm in the Marina Courtyard
Boating safety partners across the Hawaiian Islands are teaming up to promote “Ready, Set, Wear It!” for National Safe Boating Week. The goal is not only to promote the comfortable and versatile options when it comes to life jackets, but also to educate the public about life jackets and safe boating in general. Come join us for a free event for all ages with Boating Displays, a helicopter search and rescue demonstration by the US Coast Guard, free vessel safety checks for boat owners, keiki games, prizes, contests and free boat rides! Hawaiian Surf Adventures will also be doing FREE Outrigger Canoe Rides every hour (space is limited and reserved on a first-come first-serve basis). See you at the fun fest!

This event is hosted by The Hawaii Sail & Power Squadron and its Hawaii Boating Partners - USCG, USCG Auxiliary, Hawaii Kai Boat Club, La Mariana Boat Club and Docare.
